The Story

Designed for recreational divers, the Scubapro MK2 EVO/S270 pairs a compact S270 second stage with a piston-first stage to provide reliable scuba breathing across varying depths. The balanced 2nd stage design reduces inhalation effort for smoother breaths, making it suitable for a wide range of diving scenarios. Built for durability, this regulator system integrates with common scuba gear for underwater use.

XTIS extends thermal insulation to improve cold-water resistance, helping delay ice formation without sacrificing performance in underwater and temperate environments. The piston-first stage uses a chrome-plated brass body with 1 high-pressure port and 4 low-pressure ports, delivering steady air flow to the 2nd stage. It supports Nitrox mixes up to 40% and uses a DIN connector compatible with premium scuba setups.

At roughly 3.1 lb, the MK2 EVO/S270 is designed for comfortable handling with gloves, featuring an efficient exhaust tee and a dive/predive switch for quick adjustments between tasks in the water.
