The specialist high-pressure ports (HP) angled at 45-degrees keeps gauges closer to the diver’s hips, while the 30-degree angled low-pressure ports (LP) guide hoses to route directly over the diver’s shoulders for optimal trim.
Streamlined Design for Efficiency
As divers move underwater, they quickly realize the importance of streamlined gear for efficient diving and gas conservation. The Airstream 1 - Black PVD features a streamlined hose routing in the first stage. The low-pressure ports are angled 30-degrees down and 23-degrees forward to keep the configuration close to the diver’s body. The high-pressure ports angled down at 45-degrees offer minimal resistance and keep the SPG as close to the diver’s side as possible.
High-Performance Features
The Airstream 1 - Black PVD delivers the industry’s best work of breathing (WOB) of .8 joules per liter. It is available in DIN or Yoke, has a 300 Bar service pressure, offers high performance overbalanced diaphragm first stage, and comes with environmental protection. The first stage has 4 LP and 2 HP ports angled for hose routing, and is ready for cold water and Nitrox (40% or less). The Black PVD finish, CE certification to EN250 European standards, and compatibility with all OMS Regulator models parts kits further enhance its quality.
