The Mares Avanti Pure diving fins feature a bi-material blade and an open foot pocket for comfortable use in scuba and diving. Blade length varies by size from 27 cm to 34.5 cm, with size M/L listed at 32 cm (12.6 in) in the technical specs. The soft, open-foot pocket supports barefoot use or wearing socks, and elastic strap guides help keep the foot pocket from rotating during kicks.
Built for durability, the fins use Thermoplastic rubber-Tecralene material. For size M/L, blade thrust area is 550 cm² (85.2 in²), and a single fin weighs approximately 0.6 kg. The design includes an ergonomic heel cover (patent pending) to minimise pressure on the Achilles and special elastic straps that improve comfort during use, donning, and doffing, with strap guides to keep the position correct.
